Chalo Lelo Initiative was found on 15th April, 2025. The team consists of the founder being Mapalo Mulenga and other members Mulenga, Chishala, Bidose, Natasha, Marx, Lubuto and Jacob.

Our headquarters are located In Ndola, Zambia. Additionally, we have smaller branches in Solwezi. We have partnerships with several entities such as Trident College, David Kaunda STEM School, Global Changemakers and The World Merit Organisation.

We are a youth-led nonprofit organisation aimed at lighting up rural Zambia through solar power, education and community action. Together, we’re building a future where every child can learn and thrive - no matter how dark it gets.
